Host & Co-Founder
David Webley
David is the Co-Founder of Conversations with Thought Leaders, and Founder and Managing Director of Granite Consulting, a global IT recruitment provider delivering global business solutions more aligned with consulting than recruitment.
He is passionate about all things people and the realisation and fulfilment of talent. Having joined a professional services firm after graduating university, he realised IT recruitment and consulting was an industry he loved, allowing him to align a person’s values with their career aspirations.
In 2008, Granite Consulting opened its head office in Melbourne amidst the Global Financial Crisis. Granite Consulting quickly earned a reputation as an innovative IT recruitment and consulting business, thriving in a crowded market through its commitment to learning, holistic approach and values based recruitment. In 2013, Granite Consulting featured in the BRW Fast Starters and opened its UK office the following year, where David also bases himself for several months each year.
David is a respected talent and engagement specialist driven by his belief that “humans have an innate desire to work and contribute”. He enjoys helping people get the most out of their potential, guiding them to link their values to business to achieve personal fulfilment whilst contributing to bigger picture demands across the globe.
David is married and has two daughters. He loves exercise and sport generally, eating good food and travelling. He enjoys history, reading and great wine.
Executive Director & Co-Founder
Emily Webley
In addition to being the Co-Founder of 'Conversations with Thought Leaders', Emily is also the Founder of 'Nurture Drive' and the Director of 'Business Strategy and Customer Experience' at Granite Consulting.
Where 'Conversations with Thought Leaders' is a platform for its community to connect and share ideas, 'Nurture Drive' is an initiative that promotes personal and professional development and invests in helping people to reach their goals and be their best. Both initiatives reflect Emily's personal 'why', to look for ways to contribute to the business community and society around her.
With a degree in Business Management and IT, Emily lives by a strong set of values striving to continually evolve, be her best, connect people, add value and help develop and nurture others. She is open minded, promotes an experimental culture, and is continually seeking opportunities to contribute and broaden what she has to offer. Emily is an advocate for equality, and is very passionate about encouraging women in business and women in IT.
Emily is married and has two daughters. She enjoys exercising, reading, skiing, and spending time with her family.
Production Manager
Peter Langeveld
As Production Manager for CWTLeaders, Peter is responsible for all aspects of production spanning from Pre to Post production. This includes all planning and preparation for interviews, filming and orchestration of the webinar, and editing and publication of the assets created from interviews such as Videos, Podcasts, and the CWTLeaders Website. In addition to his role on CWTLeaders, Peter is also the Founder and Owner of Pro Edge Video, which is a video production company specialising in corporate content. Peter is married with two children, and enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his family, photography and making movies.
